Join me for an unforgettable adventure to Oaxaca, one of my favorite places in the world to photograph, especially during Carnaval. This small group trip is all about getting up close with the energy and soul of Oaxaca’s vibrant street parades, stunning landscapes, and rich traditions—while keeping things relaxed and fun.
We’ll be staying at Casa Ofrenda, our cozy home base, but the real magic happens out in the streets and countryside. From the hypnotic rhythms of the local calendas (parades) to the deep, smoky flavors of mezcal at a palenque, this trip is designed to immerse you in the best of Oaxaca. And when I say mezcal, I mean plenty of it—because what’s photography without a little liquid inspiration?
I'll be sharing my passion for street and cultural photography with you along the way. Whether you're an experienced photographer or just want to capture the moments that mean the most, I’ll be there to guide you, teach you a few tricks, and help you tell the story of this beautiful place through your lens.
It’s not just about photography, though—it’s about the connections we’ll make with locals, the unexpected conversations, and the laid-back vibe of the group. We’ll keep it small and intimate, so you can really dive into the experience, with plenty of time to enjoy some good food, mezcal, and the occasional spontaneous adventure.
Come ready to have fun, drink mezcal, and capture the magic of Oaxaca in the most relaxed and authentic way possible.
